The Audrey skirt from Pinupgirl Clothing is easily one of my favorite items in my closet. Not only is it fluid and gorgeous but it is SUPER versatile. Over the past few years I have been trying hard to pare down my wardrobe and rid myself of many material possessions in general and versatility in clothes as well as other items is EXTREMELY important to this process. I wanted to share three different ways I have paired it to give you an idea of how to style it but honestly 3 looks doesn’t do it justice as the possibilities with a garment this beautiful and classic are endless.
This is the most recent way I styled it. It’s very pinup-retro inspired but still conservative enough for the office. The polka dot print and classic cut of the blouse and vintage cat eye sunnies help give the look that retro vibe and the matching polka dots on the shoes pull it altogether.
Shoes: Betsey Johnson
Skirt: Pinup Girl Clothing
This next look is a bit more simple. A vintage black lace top and cat eye sunnies. Still has a vintage vibe but not as pronounced as the first one. This one is also conservative enough for the office but the black lace makes it appropriate for a night out as well.
The third look is the most casual. Flats and a Nautica swimsuit masquerading as a bodysuit. The orange stripes gives it a pop of color, and the blue stripes play off the skirts classic navy shade. Ironically enough I went to a Pinupgirl Clothing yard sale in this outfit. The flats are purely for comfort. A cream colored vintage bag to match the shoes pulls it all together.
If you head over to http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com and head to the seperates section you can find different versions of the Audrey skirt, different shades and lovely prints and longer ones as well if you would like to purchase your own. Believe me it is a worthy investment.
Thank you for stopping by the blog everyone. Have a great rest of your week!
